Recently, we painted the foyer and lobby a beautiful blue and cream tone to replace the green that existed since we purchased the house in 2004. We also tore out the old carpet to expose the original hardwood floors. A nice surprise was to find elegant tile work at the base of the fireplace that had been covered for several decades.
